EDGE Miami is a covered outdoor nightclub and event venue in Edgewater, Miami, Florida. This policy explains what we collect when you use edgemia.com, contact us, enter a giveaway, book with us, or subscribe to our email or text messages, and what we do with it. It applies to this website and to the messages we send you.

We only collect what you give us and what your device sends automatically.

Information you give us:

• Your name and email address when you subscribe, enter a giveaway, request a reservation, send a venue rental enquiry, or view an event gallery.
• Your mobile number, if you choose to give it for text messages or to verify a giveaway entry.
• Reservation details such as party size, requested date and any notes you send us.
• Event enquiry details such as event type, guest count and preferred date.
• For artists introducing themselves through our talent form: your performing name, legal name, date of birth, contact details, location, social handles, links to your music, an optional press kit, and what you write about yourself. We ask for date of birth because this is a 21 and over venue.
• Your social handle if you claim a giveaway entry for following or joining one of our channels.

Information collected automatically:

• Your IP address, browser type and the page that referred you, recorded with form submissions to prevent abuse.
• Cookies and similar technology, described below.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or any sensitive category of personal information through this website.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may send you messages about events, openings, giveaways and offers from EDGE Miami. Messages come from +1 (833) 678-0627.

• Message frequency varies. You should expect no more than a few messages per month.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade our contact lists.

We share information only with the services that make the website and our messaging work, and only so they can perform that work for us.

• Brevo, which sends our email and text messages and stores our contact lists.
• Vercel, which hosts the website, and Neon, which hosts our database.
• Meta and Google, which provide the advertising and analytics measurement described below.
• Professional advisers, or a purchaser of the business, if EDGE Miami is ever sold, and only under a duty of confidentiality.
• Law enforcement or a regulator where we are legally required to do so.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary and some are for measurement.

• A sign in cookie for staff who use our admin area.
• A cookie that remembers you have unlocked an event photo gallery, so you are not asked for your email again for about three months.
• A cookie that remembers which giveaway link brought you to the site, so a referral can be credited to the person who invited you. It lasts about 30 days.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which tell us how many people visit and which pages they use.
• The Meta pixel and the Meta Conversions API, which measure whether our advertising works. Where we send Meta a record of a form submission, your email address is converted into an irreversible code first, so Meta does not receive it in readable form.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Necessary cookies aside, the site will still work.

EDGE Miami is a public venue and we photograph and film our events. If you attend, you may appear in photographs or video that we publish on this website, in our event galleries, or on our social channels. If you would like an image of yourself removed, email info@edgemia.com describing the photograph and we will remove it.

We keep contact details for as long as you are subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can honour your unsubscribe. Giveaway entries are kept for the life of the giveaway and long enough afterwards to award and verify prizes. Reservation and event enquiry records are kept as business records. Artist introductions are kept as an ongoing record of who has approached the venue, because that history is the point of asking. You can ask us to delete any of it.

• Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
• Reply STOP to any text message to stop text messages.
• Ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
• Ask us to stop using your information for marketing.

Email info@edgemia.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a Florida resident, or otherwise have rights under a state privacy law, we will honour those rights without charging you or treating you differently for exercising them.

EDGE Miami is a 21 and over venue. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Information is held on managed hosting with access limited to the people who need it. Staff accounts use individual logins. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you not to send us sensitive information through this website.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated policy. The current version is always at edgemia.com/privacy.
